  • Stacia & Michael

Congratulations to Stacia and Mike!  Wed in New Hampshire, but headed down to Martha’s Vineyard soon after for a portrait session with yours truly :)

I enjoyed your company – thanks for bringing a lot of love and warmth on such a chilly April day on MV.  Enjoy the pics!

    Family Portraits on Martha’s Vineyard

Here we are it’s March already.  Whilst the winter doldrums are starting to set in, i’m cheering up looking over the Family Portrait sessions from summer 2011.  Here’s a small galley of some of my personal favorites.

I get to work with great families.  Some are new to my family of photography clients and others make the trip down every summer and I get to see how the kiddos (and adults) are growing :)  Working with kids and families is a highlight of my studio and i’m excited to meet new families each summer.

Looking forward to meeting / seeing you!  Let’s make some memories!

    Handmade albums

I just completed a handmade album from Sara and Chris’s wedding in 2010.  I crafted this unique piece from great materials and used a traditional Japanese stab binding technique, double stitched.  What do you think?  This is the first book i’ve ever made and hope to continue in the age old tradition of book binding and offer these types of albums to present and future clients.  They’re something to treasure — keepsakes!

    Another disc case

Here’s another disc case option I just made for a family portrait client.  I love the ocean-inspired color of the paper and decided to add a Wampum element to the string tie for securing the case.  Just love this one!  Such unique cases for my clients to have and I hope they treasure them :)

    Handmade disc cases

I just finished making a handmade disc case for Nichole and Kevin.  These were inspired by both my appreciation for book making and simply getting your hands to work on something that’s a little more personal for my clients.  Just simple search on google will get you inspired enough.  Mostly, for me, it’s great getting to make something that is a unique, hand crafted piece for my clients to treasure — a little value added and I hope they enjoy it.

This case sets the standard for all other discs I sell to my clients.  Hand crafted from great paper and materials plus a special wedding day photo printed on the face of the disc.
