What a great pleasure to photograph the newborn child of past wedding clients. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is keeping in touch with clients after their weddings or family portraits. In a way, they’re family, and I like to keep in touch with family. Enjoy these photos of Ruben A.!

One of the best ways for me to get to know my clients is through an engagement session.. Each session’s unique, offering new opportunities to explore Martha’s Vineyard’s beautiful surroundings while getting you some amazing pictures for cards and announcements. Here are some fun pics from Ashley and Adrian’s shoot last year. LOVE
Congrats to these two lovebirds – tying the knot last August in Ocean Park, Oak Bluffs. Love a good Vineyard wedding! Phavy wanted the theme to be about traveling, being a destination wedding and all. And to symbolize her love of travel, the newlyweds and their guests were shuttled around the island to see the sites. Here are some fun pics from the reception at the Menemsha Inn and Cottages.
It’s no secret – i’m a huge fan of traditional B&W photography. In fact, I regularly shoot with my 4×5 and 8×10 cameras and make twice weekly trips to Featherstone to process the film and make prints. I teach darkroom photography as well. As long as there’s film still being made for these cameras I’ll happily shoot it. (I may roll up to your wedding with some funky cameras – yes that’s me under the hood). Digital’s come a long way in terms of quality and clarity and I wanted to share some cool (GORGEOUS) images from a recent wedding that i’m pretty thrilled with.. Hope you are too.. Drop me a line and let me know why you love B&W images.
Before the sun fades on my 2012 season, buddies Laura and Dan tie the knot here on MV on the day daylight savings ends. The weather couldn’t have been more gorgeous. Or the couple for that matter. I enjoy hoping around to fun spots in Edgartown and Katama, being my usual lightseeker self. The fall colors matched the details, by design. Everything came together for a magical event. Thanks to Atria for putting on such a wonderful ceremony and reception. Enjoy the details / photos overload!
Here’s special shout out to a lovely couple, Kathryn and Eric. Had a great time photographing their wedding at their private residence in Edgartown. It was a beautiful day, beautiful ceremony, beautiful people plus beautiful locations for shooting – with just enough time to spare! I’ll never forget this afternoon.
Thanks to Lynn Buckmaster Irwin for her efforts in planning their special day.
Thank you both! I’ll truly treasure this experience and thank you again for letting me be a part of it. Enjoy!
